Tremron Construction in Cypress, CA | Moreno Valley Builders

Tremron construction service in Cypress comes down to one thing most contractors here miss: the paver is rarely the problem. It’s the base. We’re Moreno Valley Builders, and we provide independent Tremron install-and-repair work across Cypress, CA 90630. We are not authorized, sponsored, or endorsed by Tremron. What we are is a full-scope general contractor that’s rebuilt enough failed Cypress paver driveways to know the clay under them is the real story. Call us at (877) 752-3154 for a free estimate.

Why Cypress Residents Choose Us for Tremron Service

We specify Tremron pavers, slabs, and retaining-wall systems because we’ve learned how they actually behave on Cypress’s expansive clay, not because a catalog told us they’d work. Noel Trevino, our owner and General Contractor in Cypress, grew up in the Sunnymead Ranch area of Moreno Valley and spent the better part of three decades building and renovating homes across Southern California. That’s a lot of torn-out paver bases. The lesson repeats itself: a quality Tremron unit on a bad base fails, and a quality Tremron unit on a proper base lasts. So when we work in Cypress, we start with the soil, not the stone.

Our broader Tremron sales & service work spans the full product line, and we lean on that depth here. We stock Tremron OEM caps, edge restraints, and matching units so a repair blends with the existing field. We use geotextile and drainage components that meet or exceed manufacturer spec. One contractor. Every phase. From the first shovel of clay to the final joint sand.

Common Tremron Construction Problems We Solve in Cypress

  • Rutting and lipage on driveway pavers. This is the big one in Cypress. A 1960s tract home driveway set on sand over expansive clay will flex, shift, and rut under vehicle load. The Tremron pavers are fine. The base is the whole failure. We pull the field, rebuild the base with compacted Class II over geotextile, and reset the salvaged units. It saves real money versus buying new.
  • Polymeric sand washout after winter rain. Cypress lots are near-flat, and when a storm drops concentrated runoff, it sheets across the surface instead of draining off. Joint sand erodes. We re-grade for positive slope, add edge drains where the lot allows, and re-joint with a sand matched to the paver type.
  • Efflorescence and salt bloom on Olde Towne pavers. Flat Cypress lots hold winter storm runoff against the paver surface, and the minerals in that water leave a white bloom. It’s cosmetic, not structural, but it looks bad. We clean it properly and adjust drainage so the water doesn’t sit there next season.
  • Retaining-wall block settling or bulging. Tremron Paverscape and Alta block walls fail in Cypress when backfill drainage was undersized for the high water table. Water builds behind the wall, hydrostatic pressure shoves it, and the face bulges. We dig it out, install proper drain rock and a toe drain, and rebuild.
  • Uneven garage-slab aprons. The original garage aprons on many Cypress tract homes were poured over poorly compacted fill, and now they settle unevenly. When a paver driveway meets a sinking apron, the transition looks terrible and trips people. We fix the transition and grade so everything reads as one surface.

Tremron Service in Cypress: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Equipment

Here’s what Cypress specifically means for Tremron work, and it’s not something you’d hear in Tremron service in Buena Park or Los Alamitos. Cypress is a master-planned, largely built-out Orange County suburb sitting on the clay-heavy, expansive soils and high water table of the old Los Alamitos/Anaheim plain. That’s not a building-note trivia line. Expansive clay swells when wet and shrinks when dry, and it never does so evenly. A paver driveway installed over a skim of sand and a few inches of uncompacted base will heave in wet winters and settle in dry summers. We routinely discover original Tremron and other pavers laid directly on soil or a sand skim on these 1950s-70s tract lots. The paver itself is fine, and the base is the whole failure. If the details aren’t right on paper, they won’t be right in the wall. Same goes for under the paver.

In the flat central Cypress tract areas, a half-inch of grade over a 40-foot driveway matters more than the paver color. We’ve corrected enough post-rain ponding to know that drainage starts before the first unit goes down. On a Mega Olde Towne paver driveway off a Cypress tract street near the old plain, we pulled a rutted field that had been set on sand over clay and re-built it with compacted base, geotextile, and a positive grade to a new edge drain. We reset the salvaged Mega Olde Towne units with a fresh Tremron edge restraint and matching polymeric joints. One heavy winter later, no ponding on the apron. That’s what the soil demands here.

Tremron Models & Products We Service in Cypress

We install and repair the Tremron Olde Towne pavers, Mega Olde Towne pavers, Plaza Series pavers, and Paverscape or Alta retaining wall block. The Olde Towne line is the most common on Cypress driveways and walkways, and the Mega Olde Towne units show up on newer work or larger driveways. Our parts approach is simple: OEM Tremron units and edge restraints where the field needs a match, quality geotextile and drainage components everywhere else.

When a paver field has failed on clay, we tell owners the honest version. Re-laying pavers over a bad base is paying twice for the same mistake. Full base reconstruction beats patching every time. Your project. Your material choices. We’ll walk you through what stays, what gets replaced, and why.

Tremron Service Pricing in Cypress

Here’s what Tremron construction service typically runs in Cypress. These are total installed ranges, not per-unit numbers, and the spread depends on base condition, site access, and drainage work.

Service Typical Range
Paver Driveway Installation $7,000 – $18,000
Paver Patio Installation $3,500 – $11,000
Driveway Replacement $5,000 – $14,000
Concrete Driveway Installation $4,500 – $12,000
Driveway Sealing $250 – $700

What drives cost in Cypress is the condition of the existing base. If we’re pulling pavers off sand over clay, that’s a full excavation and rebuild. If the base is sound and we’re replacing a section or re-jointing, it’s a lighter job. Every estimate includes a written line-item breakdown.
